We welcome you to the website of Pension-Morgentau, formerly Pension Schmidt, in the "Goethe" and university city Ilmenau.

On the following pages you will get a glimpse of the many recreation opportunities around the town of Ilmenau, Thuringian Forest and the Rennsteig. We are happy to provide our modern rooms and friendly service.

Our ideal location, close to the Highway A71 allows you to get quickly the cultural centers of Erfurt and Weimar. On the other hand Ilmenau is located at the foot of the Rennsteig, allowing hiking and recreation trips.

We accompany you in a relaxing, but especially interesting holiday in the heart of the Thuringian Forest.

Sehr freundlicher Service.Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und gemütlich.Das Frühstück war sehr gut und alles war sehr übersichtlich.Zudem ist man noch in wenigen Minuten in der Innenstadt und verfügt allgemein über gute Ausflugsziele die in der Nähe der Pension liegen.Ich kann diese Pension nur empfehlen.
